It is imperative that you have the latest drivers for your video card or display adapters. Failure to update these drivers may result in poor performance or no video signal in ReplayTV PC Edition.
Windows Updates
Windows Updates only has the latest drivers that have been certified or WHQL'ed by their Window Hardware Quality Lab. This process of certifying drivers may take several weeks or more. We do not recommend using the Windows driver if there is a later one available from your manufacturer.
Video Card or Display Adapter Manufacturer
Your Video Card or Display Adapter Manufacturer knows your hardware and has the latest drivers available for your card. See below for links to popular manufacturers. Please check the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers to add the most functionality for your video card.
Checking the Video Card and Driver Version
- Right click on MY COMPUTER
- Select PROPERTIES
- Select the HARDWARE tab
- Click DEVICE MANAGER
- Expand DISPLAY ADAPTER by clicking on it
- Listed here you will see the brand and model of Video Card that you are using
- Double click the listing and click the DRIVER tab
